HACK!
Karl
Karl is on a family day,
With his one, his three, his five,
His pulls his metal wood out,
And slices his first drive.
His second shot's a beauty,
He hooks the ball instead,
Have you ever had the feeling
You'd be better off home in bed?
Now he feels the pressure.
Will he make a par,
A sneaking, twisting dog leg,
The hardest hole by far.
He reaches for his three wood
To blast out from the rough,
A water hazard catches him.
Shit this game is tough!
Al reaches for the floaties,
Max ready for a swim.
There's nothing like a game of golf,
The whole family can join in.
A new ball has been taken,
Karl snarls out with disgust,
A swing with all his might you see
Produces heaps of dust.
The green comes into view now,
The pin is in plain sight.
If he doesn't finish this hole soon
He'll be playing through the night.
He's played the ball so perfect,
A shot you would adore.
Ball's now rattling in the cup,
That's seven on par four.
Raymond watches closely,
Declan watches too.
They say,'Daddy maybe, one day
We'll play as good as you'.
